Quick Covid-19 test, Protective tips

Posted on March 20, 2020 by Therapists in Health In Hong Kong
We can do 2 tests for the coronavirus, useful if your loved ones need a Government recognized medical certificate, for travelling to Asian countries. Also, more tips on building up your immunity to both covid-19 and stress!
The Coronavirus situation is incredibly stressful right now, so I’d like to share information you won’t get in the newspapers or google, based on experience as both a medical doctor and Energy Medicine specialist. Integrative medicine is all about giving more information on top of solid western medical advice.
TESTING
See myself of our specially trained nurses for either or both
– blood antibody IgM, IgG test, results within 12 hours.
– nasal/throat swab/sputum polymerase DNA test, result in 3 days, positive in current infection
STRESS
Did you know that the vitamin B group is composed of 8 different types of vitamin, essential in both immunity and our stress response?

Vitamin B9 in our nervous system, mood,  as well as vital DNA function

Vitamin B6 in as well as new blood cell formation, enzymen reactions

Vitamin B12 – serotonin production for moods (tablets can’t be taken orally)

IMMUNITY

Astragalus herb has been studied to boost immunity

(DO NOT take echinacea as this for infections)

We have made up a month’s package of essentials here, to save you taking 10 different pills. This is not a time for google education, and I really advice you to follow these regimes devised for viral immunity by myself and naturopaths! Link...

In the past I started with the physical tips, but for a change I’m going to start with

Number 1  Stressbuster – Magnesium
To keep it brief, I recommend magnesium glycinate 500mg once or twice daily with food.
Magnesium is a cofactor in more than 300 enzyme systems that regulate diverse biochemical reactions in the body, including  nerve function, blood pressure regulation and brain neurotransmitter building blocks. Magnesium is required for energy production,

When we get stressed and over reactive, triggered by small events, it can be because of magnesium deficiency as it acts as the gatekeeper for the N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptors, which are found on your nerve cells and aid brain development, memory and learning.

In healthy adults, magnesium sits inside the NMDA receptors, preventing them from being triggered by weak signals that may stimulate your nerve cells unnecessarily.

When your magnesium levels are low, fewer NMDA receptors are blocked. This means they are prone to being stimulated more often than necessary.

In medical studies, adults taking a magnesium supplement daily fell asleep faster. They also noticed improved sleep quality and decreased insomnia symptoms
In another, 12-week study, people with migraines who took a 600-mg magnesium supplement experienced 42% fewer migraines than before taking the mineral.
One reason for this is that magnesium helps regulate your brain function and mood.
Several studies have shown that supplementing with magnesium may reduce symptoms of depression. Some studies even found it to be as effective as antidepressant drugs!
THE METAPHYSICAL:

Your energy buffer

One of the basics in energy medicine is knowing about you biofield. This is your own electromagnetic light energy which extends about 6 feet all around your body. This egg shaped structure is made of light and we’ve only recently discovered the origin of the light energy is from our DNA. These are the tiny powerhouses that create our energy in every cell of our body, releasing thousands of photons per second into the world.

Think of this as an electro-magnetic energy buffer between you and the rest of the world. Or a force field that will be impenetrable to anything not of your highest good. This would include corona viruses, other people’s  stress and anxiety or negative thoughts.

The important thing to note here is that what the mind  thinks and believes, the body also believes. (We experience this when we have a scary or a stressful thought our pulse and blood pressure immediately respond as they believe the threat to be real.)
Practice :
Let’s try to build up the biofield that is already around us to make it in penetrable to coronavirus! Every morning and afternoon repeat this exercise it will only take one minute. As you breathe out, imagine that your breath is pushing out your energy field to either side of you, above and below you, front and back.
Even imagine that your own energy buffer biogield is made of viscous jelly that is totally impenetrable.
Remember – what you believe happens!
The PHYSICAL
As Covid-19 is transmitted via droplets, washing hands as much as possible is undoubtedly effective. Even more important not to touch your face, fiddle with hair or glasses because this is exactly how the Coronavirus will be transmitted. Be careful not to touch communal surfaces with your bare hands e.g. door handles or railings. You can use a tissue, or part of your clothing if you need to open things.
Don’t attend large gatherings of people and spend as much time as you can in nature, for fresh air and oxygen produced by trees will be very beneficial to your health.
