We are all going away for the summer vacation however having just returned from a break myself I realised that I really suffered during the flight. I spent my whole holiday seeing a physiotherapist and having massages to get rid of horrible neck pain as well as lower back discomfort!
Having discussed this with the therapists in my office, I have a series of exercises which we can do before and after flying to help prevent these problems.
Of course, if the pain is severe or for instance with potential nerve damage such as radiating down arms and legs, you must see one of our therapists immediately.
