Light In Life: Medical to Mystical
By Dr Susan Jamieson, M.D.
In her new book, Light In Life: Medical to Mystical (published by AuthorHouse), Dr Susan Jamieson M.D. looks at the role of light in science and its importance to happiness and well-being, offering advice and exercises for those seeking to improve unity consciousness and achieve harmony with the light around and within us.
Scientists have long accepted the fact that humans are “beings of light.” Indirectly, all of our sustenance through food comes from light, the result of photosynthesis. Physicists believe that at the sub-atomic level, we are made up of solid light. Recent discoveries show that our DNA emits light, as does the human heart and planet Earth itself.
“This realisation that everything is made of light has ramifications,” Dr Jamieson writes. “If we, and our environment, are all made of the same substance, it makes sense to be in harmony with each other and our relationship to nature. This book explains how these light energies occur and how to access them in order to connect to our hidden resources.”
Dr Susan Jamieson is a highly trained medical professional who received her education at Glasgow University in Scotland and Harvard University in the United States. Her work incorporates conventional Western concepts and the ancient wisdom of alternative approaches. An expert on holistic health, Dr Jamieson has practiced as a family doctor in Hong Kong for the past 20 years and is the founder of Holistic Central, a renowned practice that integrates Western medicine with holistic treatments ranging from homeopathy to body therapies and psychological counselling. In her work as a radio doctor, Jamieson’s voice has reached out to many in need of medical advice and support.
Dr Jamieson has three book events scheduled for Light In Life: Medical to Mystical. She will talk about the book and give a guide to the exercises contained within that help the reader access the light inside and within nature.
