IV VITAMIN C
As a doctor, I have always had great success with high dose IV vitamin C in cases of influenza, and acute viruses such as shingles.
Studies show Vitamin C at sufficiently high doses can prevent viral disease and greatly speed recovery from an acute viral infection. Given intravenously it gets straight into your system, also you can’t take more than 2000-3000 mg (2-3 g) orally without it causing gastric upset.
